Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough has suggested that he could boost his squad during the January transfer window.
The Blades are currently in 19th place in the League One table, just two points above the relegation zone.
However, Clough has hinted that he may bring new players to Bramall Lane in the New Year as the team bids to move away from danger.
"January is a funny transfer window," he told the club's official website. "I find you get better value for money in the summer, but we will see what happens."
United return to action on Saturday when they make the trip to Stevenage.
