Sevilla announce Adil Rami signing

Sevilla have announced that they have reached an agreement with AC Milan to sign defender Adil Rami, subject to the Frenchman passing a medical.

It had been reported that the centre-back was available for just £3m after struggling to secure regular first-team football at San Siro following his move from Valencia last summer.

The La Liga side confirmed on their website that the 29-year-old has agreed the move, and will complete his transfer after returning from holiday next week.

Rami has made 26 appearances for his national side.
