How Sevilla could line up against Borussia Dortmund

How Sevilla could line up against Borussia Dortmund

Sevilla will be looking to recover from a 3-2 first-leg defeat when they travel to Borussia Dortmund for the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie on Tuesday night.

The La Liga outfit will again be without the services of Aleix Vidal due to a hamstring problem, but there is hope that both Yassine Bounou and Jules Kounde could recover for the European clash.

Bounou has recently been absent with a finger injury, while Kounde was not involved in Saturday's 2-1 La Liga loss to Elche due to a knock.

Head coach Julen Lopetegui will ring the changes from the league defeat, with Joan Jordan, Marcos Acuna, Suso, Youssef En-Nesyri, Fernando and Diego Carlos all in line to return.

Tomas Vaclik will start between the sticks if Bounou is unable to recover, while Sergi Gomez will be on standby to feature alongside Carlos if Kounde cannot prove his fitness before kickoff on Tuesday evening.

Ivan Rakitic, Jesus Navas and Lucas Ocampos should keep their spots in the starting XI, with Luuk de Jong and Munir El Haddadi among those expected to start on the bench.

Sevilla possible starting lineup: Bounou; Navas, Kounde, Carlos, Acuna; Jordan, Fernando, Rakitic; Suso, En-Nesyri, Ocampos
