Scotland boss Gordon Strachan: 'We're searching for style of play'

Strachan: 'We're searching for style of play'

Scotland boss Gordon Strachan has conceded that his side are searching for an identity in their play following their 1-0 defeat to Georgia.

The Scots lost their second game of their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign as Valeri Kazaishvili scored the only goal of the match in Tbilisi to condemn Strachan's men to defeat.

The 58-year-old has admitted that his team are still trying to discover a style of play, which he believes has been lacking under his tenure.

Strachan told Sky Sports News: "What is the real Scotland? I'll have to find out exactly what that is. As far as I'm concerned just now, we do not have a trademark style of play.

"We're looking for that and we've been looking for it for a long time."

Scotland are fourth in Group D, four points behind second-placed Poland, ahead of their clash against Germany on Monday.
