Steve Evans insists that promotion with Rotherham United is the biggest achievement of his managerial career.

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has labelled this season's promotion to League One as his best in management.

Evans also achieved a double promotion with Crawley Town but has claimed that his third, with Rotherham, was the better achievement.

"Personally it is relief," Evans told PA Sport. "I have had a number of promotions but this is the most special by a country mile.

"This is a fantastic football club with an incredible fanbase, you only have to see what it means to them.

"Martin Allen said last week that he usually gets an SOS call to go and save clubs from relegation, well maybe I'll start getting them to win sides promotion."

Rotherham will join Evans's old side Crawley in League One next season.
