Roma to join race for Bordeaux winger Malcom?

Roma have reportedly decided to make an approach for Bordeaux winger Malcom.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that Everton were in advanced talks with the Brazilian, who is attracting interest from a number of clubs in the Premier League.

However, according to Gianluca Di Marzio's website, Roma are preparing to make a big-money offer for the 21-year-old in the coming days.

The report suggests that the bid hinges on whether goalkeeper Alisson Becker completes a switch to Liverpool for a fee in the region of £67m, with Roma prepared to use part of those funds to try to sign the stopper's compatriot.

Malcom has allegedly indicated that he is open to making the move to Italy, with Inter Milan also showing a strong interest in the player.

During the most recent campaign, the wideman contributed 12 goals and seven assists from 35 outings in Ligue 1.
