Rudi Garcia handed two-game ban following Roma's win over Genoa

Roma coach Rudi Garcia will serve a two-match ban after an altercation with a steward following his side's 1-0 away win over Genoa in Serie A.

It is reported that Garcia tried to slap the steward after his side's win, with the Italian league confirming that his sanction is due to aggressive behaviour.

The Rome club will also miss defender Jose Holebas for one game as he was deemed to have made a provocative and insulting gesture towards the Genoa fans.

The recent victory has ensured that Roma are now within one point of table-topping Juventus, who lead the league standings on 36 points.
