Brentford linked with Republic of Ireland striker Graham Burke

Brentford have reportedly joined the race to sign Shamrock Rovers striker Graham Burke.

The Championship side are one of a number of teams interested in the Republic of Ireland international, according to the Irish Independent.

Burke made his full Ireland debut off the bench against France last month and scored his first international goal in their recent 2-1 victory over the USA.

Although the forward is said to have attracted interest from several clubs, Shamrock Rovers are yet to receive any firm offers for him.

Brentford, meanwhile, will play Shrewsbury Town in a pre-season friendly on July 21.
