Ramos targets World Cup success

Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos has said that "it would be something extraordinary" if Spain were to win the World Cup this summer.

The European and world champions will enter the tournament in Brazil as one of the favourites for success, and Ramos believes that La Roja "deserve" another trophy.

"For me, if I have the fortune to travel to Brazil, would be the third and a dream come true. Winning it would be something extraordinary," he told GQ Magazine.

"We have already made history with the triplet European Cup-World Cup–European Cup, so hopefully we can get the title in Brazil... I think that we deserve it more than anything."

Ramos has 115 caps for his country.
