Zinedine Zidane wants Eero Markkanen

Real Madrid Castilla boss Zinedine Zidane is reportedly interested in adding towering Finland striker Eero Markkanen to his squad for the new season.

Castilla were relegated from the Segunda Division last season and will therefore start the new campaign in Spain's third flight – the Segunda B.

Zidane has been tasked with securing an immediate return for the capital outfit following his appointment earlier this summer.

According to fotbollskanalen, AIK Solna forward Markkanen is Zidane's leading target, with the 6ft 5inch forward wanted to bring a physical presence to the attack.

Markkanen made his Finland debut earlier this year.
