Real Madrid transfer news: Los Blancos facing Endrick 'decision' with January move for teenage star discussed

Real Madrid facing Endrick 'decision' with winter departure possible

Valencia have reportedly been in touch with Real Madrid to register their interest in taking Brazilian forward Endrick on loan for the second half of the 2025-26 campaign.

The 19-year-old made the move to Real Madrid from Palmeiras in July 2024, and he has featured on 37 occasions for the capital giants, scoring seven goals and registering one assist in the process.

Endrick's future was the subject of speculation over the summer, but he has been out with a severe hamstring injury since May, which saw him miss the Club World Cup.

The teenager has also been absent in the early stages of this season, but the fact that he was handed the number nine shirt over the summer suggests that he is firmly in the plans of new head coach Xabi Alonso.

According to Defensa Central, a number of clubs are keeping a close eye on Endrick's situation in the Spanish capital, with his playing time in the coming months likely to determine what occurs in January.

Valencia 'keen' on January loan move for Endrick

The report claims that Valencia have been in touch with Real Madrid to register their interest in taking the teenager on loan for the second half of the 2025-26 campaign.

Endrick is said to be happy with his situation in Madrid, but he is also aware that he needs regular football this season to secure a spot in the Brazil squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior remain firmly ahead of Endrick when it comes to the attacking pecking order at Real Madrid, while Rodrygo, Brahim Diaz, Franco Mastantuono and Gonzalo Garcia provide further competition.

Real Madrid will again be challenging for a number of trophies this season, so there are plenty of matches for head coach Alonso to rotate his squad, but it is difficult to imagine Endrick receiving a run in the side unless there is a major injury to a key attacker.

When will Endrick be back on the field?

Endrick's hamstring injury has proven to be much more serious than initially expected; he had been pencilled in to return during the Club World Cup, but it then became clear that would not be possible.

The forward has also missed the opening three gameweeks of the 2025-26 La Liga campaign, with complications believed to have slowed his progress.

However, the Brazilian is now not too far away from being available for selection, with a return before the end of September expected, and he will be hoping to kick on after a frustrating few months.
