Bolton Wanderers have completed the permanent signing of Real Madrid defender Derik Osede.

The 22-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Trotters, subject to international clearance, after his contract with the La Liga giants expired.

Madrid-born Derik has represented the Spanish national team at every level between Under-16 and Under-21 level, and was a mainstay in the Real Madrid Castilla team for the previous two seasons.

In addition he was part of the Spain Under-19 side that won the 2012 European Championship crown in Estonia alongside Gerard Deulofeu and Paco Alcacer.
