Real Madrid 'closing in on Marco Reus'

Real Madrid are reportedly close to agreeing a deal for Borussia Dortmund playmaker Marco Reus.

The German international, who missed last summer's World Cup through injury, has been linked with a move to likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United in recent weeks.

However, the Daily Star claims that Los Blancos have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals and FIFA agent Francois Gallardo is believed to have said that the European champions are close to a deal for the attacker.

Furthermore, any transfer could be completed as early as this week.

Real Madrid continued their impressive winning run with victory against Almeria on Friday.
