Real Betis are reportedly interested in re-signing Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid next summer.
The 25-year-old is yet to play for Los Blancos this season due to an ankle injury, but he was on the bench against Cadiz on December 19 due to his team's long list of absentees.
Ceballos does not appear to be in the plans of Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti moving forward, and the midfielder's contract at Bernabeu is due to expire in June 2023.
According to Marca, Real Betis are keen to bring the Spaniard back to the club during next summer's transfer window, and Los Blancos are believed to be open to a deal taking place.
Ceballos came through the youth system with the Green and Whites before representing their first team on 105 occasions ahead of a move to Bernabeu in 2017.
The midfielder has largely struggled to make his mark in the Spanish capital, though, and he spent two seasons on loan at Arsenal before returning to Real Madrid over the summer.
