Real Madrid considering Inigo Martinez?

Real Madrid could reportedly move for Real Sociedad centre-back Inigo Martinez if Los Blancos defender Raphael Varane seeks pastures new this summer.

It is understood that Varane wants assurances over his role at the Bernabeu next season, with Sergio Ramos and Pepe the current first-choice centre-back partnership.

According to Marca, should Varane move on, Madrid will target Martinez, who is widely regarded as one of the best young defenders in Spanish football.

Martinez has a release clause in the region of £25m.
