How Real Madrid could line up against Getafe

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is expected to make changes to his side for Saturday night's La Liga contest with Getafe at Bernabeu.

Los Blancos are currently 12 points clear of second-placed Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table, placing them in a commanding position to win the title.

The capital side will also enter the match off the back of a 3-1 win over Chelsea in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday, with the second leg to come at Bernabeu next week.

Eden Hazard, Isco and Luka Jovic were all missing from the squad against the Blues in the Champions League, and the trio will again be absent for this contest, in addition to Ferland Mendy.

Eder Militao has been cleared to play despite suffering a knock against Chelsea, but the Brazilian is suspended for the second leg against the Blues next week, so Ancelotti could decide to select Nacho here, as the Spaniard is likely to start the second clash with Thomas Tuchel's side.

Lucas Vazquez, Marcelo, Nacho, Eduardo Camavinga and Marco Asensio could all come into the side following Wednesday's affair, with Luka Modric, Dani Carvajal and Toni Kroos potentially being rested ahead of the second leg with Chelsea.

However, Ancelotti is likely to resist the temptation to make wholesale alterations, with the likes of David Alaba, Casemiro, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior set to keep their spots in the side.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Vazquez, Nacho, Alaba, Marcelo; Valverde, Casemiro, Camavinga; Asensio, Benzema, Vinicius
