Jose Mourinho not sorry for Barca melee

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has said he is not sorry for his part in an altercation with Barcelona players and staff.

Mourinho appeared to gouge the eye of Barca assistant Tito Vilanova towards the end of his side's Super Cup final defeat as members from both sides clashed on the touchline.

"José will not ask for forgiveness. He firmly believes that he was defending the interests of Real Madrid," Mourinho's spokesman, Eladio Parames, told El Mundo.

"He doesn't care what the press says, he only cares about what Madrid's fans think."
