Marcelo doubt for Copa del Rey final?

A report claims that a hamstring injury could keep Real Madrid left-back Marcelo out of the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona later this month.

Real Madrid defender Marcelo could reportedly miss the final of the Copa del Rey against Barcelona later this month after suffering a hamstring injury in training.

It was revealed earlier this afternoon that the Brazilian faces a period of two weeks on the sidelines with the strain, which has ruled him out of both legs of their Champions League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund.

His involvement in the Copa final was not believed to be in doubt, but according to AS, a period of three weeks rather than two has been mooted.

Castilla left-back Jorge Casado trained with the Los Blancos first team earlier this afternoon, but is not expected to be involved in the first leg against Dortmund on Wednesday evening.
