Toni Kroos criticises Spanish media

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has claimed that the Spanish media are too extreme in their criticism of bad results.

Los Blancos were lauded for their performances in the early part of the campaign as they went on a 22-game winning run.

However, a run of just one victory from their last five matches has led to criticism from a number of sources.

"Those who know me best know that my opinions don't change with the wind. That's what the Spanish media are like sometimes. Everything's great when you win a game, but it's all bad when you lose," he told Sport 1.

Kroos is currently on international duty with Germany.
