Iker Casillas tips Gareth Bale to become Real Madrid legend

Iker Casillas has claimed that Gareth Bale has what it takes to become a legend at Real Madrid.

Bale has made a promising start to his career in the Spanish capital following his record-breaking move from Tottenham Hotspur, and Casillas believes that the 24-year-old could be compared with the club's greatest players if he continues to improve.

"Legend is a word that can be over used," the Spaniard told reporters. "But Gareth Bale has proved already he has the talent to go on and become a legend at Real Madrid. During my time here I have seen real legends like Raul, Zidane, Ronaldo, and now Cristiano [Ronaldo].

"Gareth is not out of place in that company, not at all. He is a young guy and if he spends his best years here then he can join that group of names."

Bale has scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates in La Liga this season.
