Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos to undergo shoulder scan on Tuesday

Sergio Ramos to undergo scan on Tuesday

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has revealed that he will undergo a scan on Tuesday to discover the extent of his latest shoulder problem.

The Spanish international has been troubled with a shoulder injury over the last month or so and has been forced to play with pain-killing injections.

In opening the scoring against Sevilla at the weekend, Ramos re-injured his shoulder and will now face a scan this week to determine whether he is facing an extended period on the sidelines.

"The shoulder is not good. In scoring the goal I have fallen on my arm. Now I am just thinking about recovering, I will have a scan on Tuesday," Ramos told reporters.

"The priority must be to recover as soon as possible. I played four or five games with an injection but have had a relapse again."

Ramos, whose team lost 3-2 at Sevilla on Sunday in La Liga, has been forced to pull out of the Spain squad for their upcoming internationals against England and Belgium.
