Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Granada

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's La Liga clash with Granada.

Real Madrid will be looking to make it nine La Liga victories in a row when they travel to Granada on Monday.

Los Blancos have picked up maximum points in their last eight league matches to rise to the top of the table, with their lead over second-placed Barcelona currently standing at four points.

Zinedine Zidane's side will enter Monday's match off the back of a 2-0 home win over Alaves, which saw them take another big step towards wrestling the title away from Barca.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Granada, who remain in the mix for a top-six position this term.

Marcelo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Adductor
Possible return date: August 7 (vs. Man City)

Marcelo will miss Madrid's final three La Liga matches of the season with an adductor injury, but it is understood that the Brazilian could be back to face Manchester City in the Champions League next month.

Nacho

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: July 13 (vs. Granada)

Madrid revealed last month that versatile defender Nacho had picked up a thigh injury during a training session. The capital giants did not mention a timeframe when they confirmed the Spaniard's problem, although he is back in training and has an outside chance of featuring on Monday night.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Madrid have no suspension issues ahead of Monday's clash with Granada; Dani Carvajal and Sergio Ramos were both suspended against Alaves but will be available for selection here.
