How Real Madrid could line up against Union Berlin

Real Madrid will again be missing seven players through injury for Tuesday's Champions League contest with Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin in Germany.

Dani Carvajal, Vinicius Junior, Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois remain on the sidelines for Los Blancos due to injury problems.

Jude Bellingham has been named in the squad, but the England international is currently nursing both a shoulder problem and an ankle issue, and head coach Carlo Ancelotti could therefore take the chance to rest his star player, as Los Blancos are already through to the next round as section winners.

There will be changes from the side that started against Real Betis in La Liga on Saturday, with Kepa Arrizabalaga likely to be recalled between the sticks.

There could also be a spot for Nacho at the back, while Dani Ceballos is likely to come into the midfield, with Toni Kroos expected to drop out.

Brahim Diaz could move into the number 10 position, with Joselu operating through the middle alongside Rodrygo, who has scored three times and registered one assist in five Champions League outings this term.

Vinicius Tobias, Mario Martin, Nico Paz and Gonzalo Garcia will all make the trip to Germany, and the youngsters will be hoping to be involved in some captaincy in the European fixture.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Kepa; Vazquez, Rudiger, Nacho, Mendy; Valverde, Ceballos, Modric; Diaz; Rodrygo, Joselu
