How Real Madrid could line up against RB Leipzig

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti should only be working without his three ACL victims for Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg with RB Leipzig at the Bernabeu.

Los Blancos came away from the Red Bull Arena with a 1-0 win from the first leg thanks to a stunning solo attempt from Brahim Diaz, although they rode their luck at various points.

No new injury concerns have arisen since, meaning that the hosts have a clean bill of health besides David Alaba, Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois, the latter two of whom are looking good for returns in April.

With Courtois missing, Andriy Lunin shone for Real in the first leg with nine saves to prevent 2.44 goals, and the Ukrainian is now firmly ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga in the goalkeepers' pecking order.

Lunin ought to line up behind an unchanged backline of Dani Carvajal, Ferland Mendy, Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni, who is still filling in at centre-back while Militao and Alaba rehabilitate.

Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Toni Kroos should form an untouched midfield trio too, and in spite of his match-winning effort in the first leg, Diaz is set to lose out to a fit-again Bellingham.

The England international thought that he had snatched a dramatic win for Ancelotti's side in their La Liga draw with Valencia at the weekend, heading in from a Diaz delivery, but the referee's whistle had controversially blown as the ball was swung into the box.

Bellingham was dismissed in the furore that followed, but he is eligible to take his place behind the attacking pairing of Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, whose brace saw Real come from two goals down to take a point home from Mestalla.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Lunin; Carvajal, Tchouameni, Rudiger, Mendy; Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr
