Adrian Mariappa arrives for Crystal Palace medical?

Reading defender Adrian Mariappa has reportedly arrived for a medical in South London ahead of a move to Crystal Palace.

The 26-year-old is yet to turn out for the Royals in the Championship this season, amid speculation that he was keen to leave the club.

He has now been granted his wish, having been told that he can travel to Palace for discussions over personal terms and a medical examination, according to Sky Sports News.

The defender joined Reading in 2012, having previously spent seven years at Vicarage Road with Watford.
