Reading have sent forward Craig Tanner on loan to Plymouth Argyle on a six-month deal.
The 20-year-old will remain with the League Two side until January 2.
Tanner spent most of last season on loan at AFC Wimbledon, making 19 appearances for Neal Ardley's team.
Plymouth play their first game of the new campaign on Saturday when they face Wimbledon at Kingsmeadow.
