Steve Clarke: "There is more to come"

Steve Clark insists that his Reading side can keep on improving after watching them beat Norwich City 2-1.

Reading manager Steve Clarke has insisted "there is more to come" from his side after they beat Norwich City 2-1 at the Madejski Stadium to end their run of four games without a win.

A Hal Robson-Kanu penalty and a goal from Simon Cox gave Reading the victory that lifts them up to 16th in the table, and Clarke is adamant his side can keep on improving.

"I thought we deserved to win the game. I'm really pleased with the squad, and there's more to come from them," Clarke told reporters at full time.

"We had a sense of injustice after the referee's mistake, but the crowd really helped us home and we managed the game well.

"We are progressing well. First game a narrow defeat, then a draw and now a deserved victory."

Reading continue their season when they face Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup Third Round on January 3.
