Nathan Jones: 'No complains with Leonardo Ulloa red'

Brighton & Hove Albion assistant manager Nathan Jones says that the referee was right to send Leonardo Ulloa off during their goalless draw against Reading.

Brighton & Hove Albion assistant manager Nathan Jones has said that the Seagulls have no complaints regarding Leonardo Ulloa's red card in this afternoon's goalless draw at Reading.

The Argentine forward received his marching orders for a dangerous challenge on Alex Pearce, just eight minutes after Pavel Pogrebnyak had been sent off for the Royals.

"It was reckless challenge," PA quotes Jones as saying. "Leo's not malicious but he didn't give the referee an option.

"In today's football it's a straight red and with their player having just gone, the crowd up and their players rushing in it's going to be a red."

Ulloa will miss Championship games against Queens Park Rangers, Bolton Wanderers and Ipswich Town.
