Former Derby County midfielder John Eustace is in talks with Rangers, according to reports.
The Daily Record claims that the 35-year-old would be installed as captain if he makes the move to Ibrox.
He has also been linked with moves to Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United.
Rangers have already signed defender Rob Kiernan from Wigan Athletic and been linked with Hearts captain Danny Wilson.
