Report: Rangers favourites to sign Danny Wilson after Celtic withdraw interest

Rangers have become the favourites to sign Hearts captain Danny Wilson, according to reports.

Celtic recently signed central defender Dedryck Boyata, and the Daily Record claims that they have now withdrawn their interest in Wilson.

This could pave the way for a move to Rangers, with new manager Mark Warburton reportedly hoping to pair him with Rob Kiernan in defence next season.

Wilson played 14 games for Rangers before signing for Liverpool in 2010.
