Bobby Zamora nears QPR switch

Bobby Zamora is undergoing a medical at Loftus Road ahead of a proposed move to Queens Park Rangers.

The striker has been locked in discussions with officials from Rangers for the last few hours following Fulham's acceptance of a bid that is believed to be in the region of £5m.

Although no agreement over personal terms has been reached, it is believed that the two parties are not too far away from a settlement.

Zamora could partner Djibril Cisse up front for Rangers after the Frenchman joined the club earlier this afternoon.
