Ramsey: 'I can manage QPR full time'

Chris Ramsey believes that keeping Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League might see him rewarded with the manager's job on a full-time basis.

Ramsey, who took charge after Harry Redknapp stepped down as manager back in February, has guided the R's to touching distance of safety as they lie two points adrift of Hull City in 17th in the division.

"I'm keen to [manage them on a permanent basis], I know I can do it, but I need to make sure the club stays up because the owners have got a lot of faith in me and I think I can help the club achieve the task," he said.

"I've worked with every sort of player from a young amateur player to top internationals and I think it gives you a more balanced view of the game than people who come straight into the game with no experience dealing with different types of players."
