Sunday's Eredivisie predictions including Fortuna Sittard vs. Feyenoord

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Eredivisie fixtures, including Fortuna Sittard vs. Feyenoord.

Heerenveen vs. Cambuur (Sunday, 11.15am)

World Cup general image football

After their five-game unbeaten Eredivisie run was ended last weekend, Heerenveen will be looking for a positive response when they face fierce rivals Cambuur in the Frisian derby on Sunday.

The visitors, meanwhile, enter the contest in poor form after losing their last six matches, although a victory on Sunday would lift them above Heerenveen in the league table.

We say: Heerenveen 2-1 Cambuur

Sunday's meeting will be the first time since 2016 that the Frisian derby has taken place in front of fans after the reverse fixture was played in an empty stadium.

Although form can go out the window in derby matches, such has been Cambuur's drop off in form in the second half of the season, we think that they will be unable to trouble Heerenveen, who have won their previous two home games.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Go Ahead Eagles vs. Vitesse (Sunday, 1.30pm)

World Cup general image football

Go Ahead Eagles prepare for the visit of Vitesse on Sunday with both teams looking to avoid a third consecutive defeat.

This weekend's hosts seek to complete a league double over their visitors off the back of a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture.

We say: Go Ahead Eagles 1-1 Vitesse

Vitesse have struggled at both ends of the pitch of late, and they will be seeking to turn things around, while Go Ahead Eagles set out to get back on track having hit a bump in the road last time out. We are tipping the sides to cancel each other out over the 90 minutes, resulting in a share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

PSV vs. Willem II (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Having ended a run of eight games without a victory last time out, Willem II travel to the Philips Stadion on Sunday to tackle PSV Eindhoven.

On the other hand, PSV are looking to pick up a ninth victory in 10 Eredivisie outings and keep their title charge alive.

We say: PSV Eindhoven 3-1 Willem II

Buoyed by their recent victory, Willem II will head to Eindhoven with the wind in their sails, but awaiting them is a PSV side currently firing on all cylinders. We are backing the hosts to emerge triumphant at the sound of the final whistle.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Sittard vs. Feyenoord (Sunday, 3.45pm)

Fortuna Sittard go in search of a third consecutive victory on Sunday when they lock horns with Feyenoord at the Fortuna Sittard Stadion.

The away side also head into the contest in fine form as they set out to secure a fifth straight win across all competitions.

We say: Fortuna Sittard 1-2 Feyenoord

While they will have one eye on the second leg of their Conference League semi-final, Feyenoord should have enough about them to get the job done in this one and we fancy them to come out on top, albeit by only a narrow margin.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

RKC Waalwijk vs. Groningen (Sunday, 7.00pm)

World Cup general image football

RKC Waalwijk and Groningen draw the curtain on round 31 of the 2021-22 Eredivisie season with a meeting at the Mandemakers Stadium on Sunday.

The hosts are seeking to pick up a first victory in five outings while their visitors set out to avoid a third consecutive defeat.

We say: RKC Waalwijk 1-0 Groningen

There is little to choose between the sides and we expect a close contest. That said, the onus is more on the hosts to pull further clear of relegation danger with all three points in this one and we fancy them to get the job done.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
