Feyenoord took a huge step towards qualifying for the Conference League final courtesy of a thrilling 3-2 triumph over Marseille at De Kuip on Thursday.

Arne Slot's men took a commanding two-goal lead inside 20 minutes thanks to Cyriel Dessers and Luis Sinisterra, but they were pegged back by Bamba Dieng and Gerson before Dessers netted the winner in the early exchanges of the second half.

The Rotterdam-based outfit now prepare to take on an opposing side who have lost each of the last five meetings between the teams since 2020.

Jens Toornstra has missed Feyenoord's last two games due to an ankle problem, and the 33-year-old is not expected to play any part on Sunday.
