Carlo Ancelotti denies spending spree

Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti has denied reports that the French club will launch a spending spree this summer.

The Ligue 1 outfit finished the season in second position, but Ancelotti believes that the club already have the "backbone" of a successful team.

"It won't be a revolution next year because we have the backbone," he told reporters.

The Italian took over at PSG in 2011.
