Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores hat-trick in Nice win

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain beat Nice 3-1 and extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1.

It was the away side who had the game's first chance, though, as Mahamane Traore headed narrowly over the bar from Valentin Eysseric's corner.

Ibrahimovic fired at Lucas Veronese when played through by Thiago Motta after 30 minutes, but opened the scoring nine minutes later.

Gregory van der Wiel skipped away from his marker on the right flank and squared the ball for the Swedish striker, who slotted home from close range.

Ibrahimovic doubled his tally just before the hour mark from the penalty spot after Edinson Cavani was brought down in the box by Veronese.

With PSG seemingly cruising to victory, Nemanja Pejcinovic poked home in the 70th minute to give Nice some hope, but Ibrahimovic scored his eighth league goal of the season to wrap up his hat-trick.

Lucas Moura delivered a cross from the right wing to leave the Swedish striker with a simple header.
