How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Dijon

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Friday's Ligue 1 clash with Dijon.

Paris Saint-Germain travel to Dijon after a comfortable 4-0 win over Marseille at the Parc des Princes last time out.

The reigning Ligue 1 champions are currently on a six-game winning streak across all competitions since a disappointing 2-0 reverse at home to Reims.

Despite suffering two domestic defeats, PSG have won each of their first three Champions League games as they make a flying start in their pursuit of coveted European silverware.

Dijon were beaten 2-0 by Bordeaux away from home last time out and have won just twice all season in what is proving to be a difficult campaign.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how PSG could line up for Friday's showdown.

Possible PAR XI vs. DIJ

Out: Thilo Kehrer (foot), Thomas Meunier (hamstring), Idrissa Gueye (groin), Neymar (hamstring)
Doubtful:

PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel is unlikely to shake up his side following their convincing 4-0 win against Marseille last time out, with injuries to the likes of Neymar, Gueye and Meunier reducing competition for places in the side.

Keylor Navas is clearly Tuchel's first-choice shot-stopper over Sergio Rico, who has yet to make his debut for the club. The former Real Madrid keeper should play behind an unchanged back four of Juan Bernat, Presnel Kimpembe, Thiago Silva and Colin Dagba. It is possible that Abdou Diallo could replace Kimpembe, but Tuchel may see no reason to change things after such a convincing performance.

In midfield, Marco Verratti, Marquinhos and Ander Herrera could all retain their places against Dijon. Leandro Paredes and Julian Draxler have been used very sparingly this term and are unlikely to displace any of that trio.

Going forward, there is little doubt that star man Kylian Mbappe and a red-hot Angel Di Maria will occupy the wide areas, and Mauro Icardi will expect to keep his place up front after his brace against Marseille. Edinson Cavani will have to continue biding his time as his fellow South American flourishes.
