How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Bordeaux

How PSG could line up against Bordeaux

Paris Saint-Germain will once again not be able to call upon Lionel Messi for Saturday's Ligue 1 encounter with Bordeaux.

The six-time Ballon d'Or winner missed out against RB Leipzig in midweek with hamstring and knee discomfort and has now been ruled out of this weekend's Ligue 1 contest.

Les Parisiens are also without Sergio Ramos, Marco Verratti and Leandro Paredes once more, while Rafinha is also suffering from hip discomfort, but Kylian Mbappe appears to be fully over an ear infection.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has had to fight for his right to wear the gloves this term but will hope to keep Keylor Navas out of the side once more, with Achraf Hakimi returning at right-back after serving a suspension against Lille.

Ramos's likely absence would have meant another start for Presnel Kimpembe - guilty of giving away a clumsy penalty against RB Leipzig - alongside Marquinhos, but Thilo Kehrer should now get the nod after his counterpart suffered a hamstring injury.

Georginio Wijnaldum is sure to earn another start after notching up both of his side's goals in the draw with Leipzig, while Ander Herrera is a potential candidate to replace Danilo Pereira alongside the Dutchman and Idrissa Gueye.

Should Messi not make the cut again, an unchanged frontline should see Angel Di Maria, Neymar and Mbappe lead the charge while Julian Draxler and Mauro Icardi aim to make an impact from the bench.

PSG possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kehrer, Mendes; Herrera, Gueye, Wijnaldum; Di Maria, Mbappe, Neymar
