Kylian Mbappe booed by Paris Saint-Germain fans after Real Madrid saga

French forward Kylian Mbappe was booed and jeered by a section of Paris Saint-Germain supporters during their Ligue 1 clash with Clermont Foot on Saturday.

The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid over the summer and is now reportedly set to agree a deal to join Los Blancos next year upon the expiry of his contract on the French capital.

Les Parisiens played host to newly-promoted Clermont Foot in league action on Saturday, and Mbappe got on the scoresheet in a 4-0 victory for Mauricio Pochettino's side, taking his tally to four goals and two assists in five Ligue 1 outings this season, after leading the league's scoring charts last season with 27 goals.

However, his name was met with boos and whistles from a section of the PSG crowd during the pre-game announcement of the squad, according to Marca.

With his contract expiring next summer, the French forward will be free to discuss terms with the Spanish giants after the turn of the year, having rejected several new offers from the Parc des Princes outfit.
