Blaise Matuidi: 'Paris Saint-Germain hard to catch'

Blaise Matuidi says that Paris Saint-Germain "will be hard to catch" after they opened up a seven-point lead at the top of Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi has said that it will be difficult for any Ligue 1 side to catch Les Rouge-et-Bleu.

PSG won 3-0 away at Reims last night to extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points after 14 games, and Matuidi believes that his side must be considered title favourites after opening up a sizeable gap over their rivals.

"We have learned to be focused all the time," the 26-year-old is quoted as saying by Le Parisien.

"We are always 110% in all our games. With our technical quality, if we maintain this level of concentration and this state of mind, it will be hard to catch us.

"Technically, there is not much to say about our game. With our expertise and experience, we never panicked."

Matuidi has made 75 appearances for PSG since arriving in the French capital in 2011.
