Zlatan Ibrahimovic: 'We need to wake up after Bastia defeat'

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic calls for his teammates to "wake up" after they are beaten 4-2 away at the hands of underdogs Bastia in Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has told his teammates to wake up following their shock 4-2 defeat at the hands of Bastia.

Laurent Blanc's men fell to a surprising drubbing, despite finding themselves two goals ahead after 20 minutes of action at the Stade Armand Cesari.

"We played well for the opening 20 minutes, and then something happened that has never happened to me before," Ibrahimovic told the club's official website.

"After leading 2-0, to lose 4-2... I had never experienced that. We need to wake up. We need to analyse this match, there are a lot of factors to take into account, the details that made the difference in this match.

"In my opinion, it's not a mental problem. The atmosphere within the squad is good, that's not the problem."

The current champions find themselves sitting in fourth position in the Ligue 1 table, three points adrift of table-topping Marseille.
