How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Nice

How PSG could line up against Nice

Paris Saint-Germain play host to Nice in Ligue 1 on Saturday afternoon looking to end their recent poor run of results in all competitions.

Thomas Tuchel's side have registered just one victory in six attempts, and one of those setbacks was the dramatic defeat to Rennes in the Coupe de France final.

PSG have already claimed the top-flight crown, but Tuchel is aware that he must find a solution to the club's disappointing results before the end of the season.

Below, Sports Mole predicts what starting lineup could be named by Tuchel when Nice make the trip to Parc des Princes.

Out: Thomas Meunier (knee), Thiago Silva (knee), Thilo Kehrer (hamstring)

Tuchel may decide to call upon Edinson Cavani, who has barely featured during the past six weeks due to injury.

The Uruguay international could potentially be included in a front three, with Neymar retaining his place in the team having also returned to full fitness.

Tuchel must do without Thomas Meunier, Thilo Kehrer and Thiago Silva, which means that Colin Dagba should keep his spot on the right-hand side of a back three.

Marco Verratti should return to the centre of midfield after missing the Montpellier defeat, while Layvin Kurzawa could be preferred to Juan Bernat at left wing-back.

Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting may drop down to the bench, and Angel di Maria could be absent due to injury.
