That's all from me. I hope you enjoyed the match. Until next time, goodnight.

Cavani had levelled the match for PSG after Congre put the visitors ahead. But Montano's second-half header proved to be the winner, in a match where PSG squandered a huge number of chances.

What an upset! PSG's dreams of winning the quadruple this season are over, and it's Montpellier who move into the last 16.

FULL-TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 1-2 Montpellier HSC

There will be three minutes for PSG to save themselves.

YELLOW CARD: Silva is booked for going through the back of Cabella.

Time is ticking for PSG. Are their quadruple dreams about to die?

MISS! Ibrahimovic has his first chance of the match, but he runs on to a cross at the near post and slams the ball wide.

PSG appeal for a penalty as Cavani goes down under a challenge in the box. It probably is a penalty, but Cavani makes such a meal of it that he had to have put off the referee.

CHANCE! Cabella drifts in from the right touchline under pressure, before blazing a shot just over the top left corner.

PSG are upping the tempo, but are largely being frustrated by Montpellier, who have a lot of players working hard behind the ball.

SAVE! Crucial stop by Douchez, who races off his line to slide in and snatch the ball from Camara, who was through on goal.

YELLOW CARD: Matuidi goes into the book for upending Cabella.

I imagine that Montpellier will do all they can now to run down the clock. They took a while over that substitutions, and have added a few extra rolls when being challenged to the floor.

MONTPELLIER CHANGE: Defensive alteration for the visitors as Morgan Sanson is on in place of the striker Niang.

Is there a shock on the cards here? 20 minutes to go.

Wow, Montpellier are back in front! The corner is whipped into the near side of the area, and Montano plants a bullet header into the top corner. No chance for Douchez.

GOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 1-2 Montpellier HSC (Victor Hugo Montano)

Corner to Montpellier.

PSG are likely to be playing a 4-3-3 formation now, with Cavani and Lucas either side of Ibrahimovic. Motta joins Matuidi as the steel in the midfield trio, while Pastore will be more advanced.

PSG CHANGE: Huge roar for Ibrahimovic as he makes his way onto the field. Blanc isn't done there either and sends Motta on in place of Verratti.

PSG CHANGE: Here comes the main man. Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes his way onto the field, replacing Menez.

SAVE! Vital stop from Pionnier to keep Montpellier level. Cavani receives the pass inside the box from the right, and brilliantly turns inside to shoot with his left. However, Pionnier read the situation and was quickly out to block the shot.

Nothing comes from the corner. We haven't seen a lot from PSG in this half, Montpellier are on top at the moment.

SAVE! PSG break downfield and it nearly leads to an own goal. Menez weaves in and out of a couple of challenge before being tackled on the edge of the box. However, Congre's tackle is so hard, that it forces Pionnier to make a save to his left and concede the corner.

Ibrahimovic has been sent to warm up for PSG. Could we be seeing the Ligue 1 top scorer shortly?

They don't this time though, as Silva heads the ball clear.

Montpellier are awarded a free kick around 35 yards out. Tiene is over it, they scored from this situation last time...

Slow start to his second half. Montpellier are enjoying a bit more of the ball than they were used to in that first half.

Digne has a pop at this with his left foot, but sends it comfortably over the bar.

PSG win a free kick outside the box on the right.

KICK OFF! Montpellier, playing from left to right, get the second half going.

MONTPELLIER CHANGE: Marveaux has come on at the break, in place of El Kaoutari.

The teams are back out at the Parc des Princes.

However, after Digne had a goal incorrectly chalked off, Cavani had one incorrectly allowed to level. The striker then missed an absolute sitter moments later. PSG have dominated, but it's level at the break.

PSG should be miles ahead, but fell behind to a Daniel Congre a header owed largely to a mistake by Nicolas Douchez.

What a good half that was. Thoroughly entertaining, but it's somehow just 1-1 at the break.

HALF TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 Montpellier HSC

There will be one minute of added time.

Still all PSG, but no chances in the last few minutes.

Cavani tries a spectacular bicycle kick from a Pastore delivery on the right, but he cannot keep it down. Nice try though.

SAVE! Montpellier have a rare attack, as Montano tries his luck from range. It should be an easy stop for Douchez, but the ball madly swerves at the last second, and the goalkeeper does well to turn it away in the end.

PSG are getting closer and closer. Twice in the space of a minute though, the move is lacking a shot. First, Cavani's headed knockdown was cleared, before Digne's cut back towards Cavani blocked.

That simply was horrendous. Why Cavani didn't go with his left foot I will never know.

MISS! Wow. Just minutes after scoring the leveller, Cavani misses an absolute sitter. A frantic bit of pinball on the edge of the box sees the ball fall to Lucas on the right. He smacks a low shot across goal that beats Pionnier but falls to Cavani. The striker has an empty net to tap the ball into, but somehow scuffs it wide. That is one of the worst misses I've ever seen.

Equaliser! It's controversial though, as Digne squares it from the left for a Cavani tap in, but the striker was in an offside position when he scored. After Digne's earlier goal was chalked off incorrectly though, justice is served you could say.

GOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 Montpellier HSC (Edinson Cavani)

The game has chilled out a bit now as Montpellier are given a chance to catch their breath. PSG are still bossing the ball, and refusing to let Montpellier have a go. It's no wonder why after last time...

CHANCE! Another opportunity for PSG. Van der Wiel crosses well on the right, and finds Lucas towards the near post. He somehow rises above Congre, but heads wide of the front post.

That goal came completely against the run of play, and PSG have immediately gone down the other day in an attempt to equalise.

Would you believe it?! Despite being battered for the opening 20 minutes of this match, it's Montpellier who take the lead. They have a free kick on the right of the PSG half, and Tiene crosses it in to the far post. Douchez comes to collect it, but the goalkeeper makes a complete hash of it and allows Congre to head the ball into an empty net. Scenes.

GOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 0-1 Montpellier HSC (Daniel Congre)

Montpellier venture forward for the first time, and lose it.

Javier Pastore, who has been strongly linked with a move away from PSG, has started really well in the playmaker role. All the play is going through him.

MISS! PSG attack again as Van der Wiel picks up the ball on the right edge of the area. He pulls a pass back to Matuidi on the penalty spot, but the big man side-foots his shot wide of the right post. He should have at least hit the target there.

PSG have totally dominated possession so far, and I'm a bit surprised that they are not yet in front.

Well this is interesting and PSG SHOULD be ahead, but the linesman has flagged offside. Digne gets in behind the Montpellier backline and runs on to a Pastore through ball, before rifling the shot past Pionnier into the near bottom corner. The decision goes against him though, although the replays show that the full-back was onside.

Montpellier are well and truly under the cosh at the moment, and completely unable to get out of their own half.

It's not a good delivery from the Brazilian, whose low cross makes it to the edge of the box and is hacked downfield by El Kaoutari.

Free kick to PSG out on the right of the penalty are. Lucas will surely cross this to the back post.

MISS! Another PSG shot early on, this time from Verratti. He takes the shot off the feet of Cavani, but smashes it against the shins of a defender before it rises over. The corner is cleared by Congre.

MISS! Pastore gets a chance to shoot, but spurns his effort wide of the near post from the right of the box.

Good start this from PSG, who have Montpellier pinned back early.

SAVE! Pionnier is forced into his first save of the night as Lucas picks the ball up from outside the box and hits a strong left-foot effort at goal. It's a decent hit but Pionnier can punch the ball away from goal.

KICK OFF! PSG, playing from left to right, get the match underway.

PSG are in their home kit of all navy, with red and white blocks on the shirt. Montpellier are donning white shirts with orange shorts and white socks.

It'll be interesting to see how Cavani gets on tonight. He has been forced to play out wide since joining PSG due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but he's going to have to do it alone up top tonight.

And out they come, to a pretty full Parc des Princes.

The teams are in the tunnel, and are ready to head out.

So those are your two teams tonight. Kick off is just a few minutes away.

MONTPELLIER BENCH: Jourdren, Assoumi, Mezague, Marveaux, Sanson, Deza, Tinhan

And now for the Montpellier substitutes.

Geoffrey Jourdren, Vitorino Hilton, Joris Marveaux, Anthony Mounier and Morgan Sanson are the men to drop out.

Laurent Pionnier, Siaka Tiene, Souleymane Camara, Jamel Saihi and Victor Hugo Montano all come into the starting lineup. Reported Newcastle United target Remy Cabella starts in his usual advanced midfield role.

Courbis makes fives changes to the Montpellier team that won 2-0 at Sochaux on Saturday.

MONTPELLIER XI: Pioneer, Deplagne, El Kaoutari, Congre, Tiene, Stambouli, Saihi, Camara, Cabella, Montano, Niang

So that's the champions for you. Now for the former champs; Montpellier.

PSG BENCH: Sirigu, Alex, Camara, Maxwell, Thiago Motta, Ibrahimovic, Ongenda

Let's take a look at what Blanc has in reserve.

Salvatore Sirigu, Alex, Maxwell, Thiago Motta, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been rested for the match. Meanwhile, Nicolas Douchez comes in between the sticks, with Marquinhos, Lucas Digne, Javier Pastore, Lucas and Jeremy Menez also getting the nod.

Laurent Blanc makes six changes to the PSG team that smashed five past Nantes on Sunday.

PSG XI: Douchez, Van der Wiel, Marquinhos, Silva, Digne, Verratti, Matuidi, Pastore, Lucas, Cavani, Menez

Right, let's bring you the team news, starting with the home team.

PSG, who last reached the Coupe de France final in 2011, have won the competition eight times in their relatively short history, while Montpellier have only won it once, in 1990. That victory came after they defeated Racing Club de Paris 2-0 in the final at the Parc des Princes, with a certain Laurent Blanc scoring one of the goals.

However, following a sloppy start to the season, Montpellier are slowly improving new manager Rolland Courbis and will look to pull off a shock. Montpellier are just four points above the Ligue 1 relegation zone, but go into this match off the back of a 2-0 win against Sochaux at the weekend.

This match is likely to be the tie of the round in terms of the biggest teams facing one another, although Paris Saint-Germain are huge favourites to see off Montpellier given their unbeaten home record, that stretches back 14 months. Throw in their recent form, including the emphatic nature of their 5-0 weekend win against Nantes in the capital, and it's not hard to see why many fancy PSG to compete for all four domestic cups on offer to them this season.

Our focus tonight is at the Parc des Princes for the last 32 of the competition, where Ligue 1 champions and leaders PSG take on the 2012 champions of France Montpellier.

Bonjour and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of the Coupe de France where Paris Saint-Germain host Montpellier HSC.
