Kylian Mbappe fires warning to Edinson Cavani ahead of PSG vs. Man United clash

Paris Saint-Germain winger Kylian Mbappe has fired a warning to former teammate Edinson Cavani that there will be no love lost during Tuesday's Champions League showdown with Manchester United.

Cavani could make his debut for the Red Devils against the club he left in the summer, having scored an unrivalled 200 goals for PSG across all competitions, including a club-record 30 in the Champions League.

The 33-year-old won 15 major trophies in his seven years at the Parc des Princes, but Mbappe insists that there will be no room for sentiment when they quickly renew acquaintances in their Group H curtain-raiser on Tuesday.

Asked whether it will feel strange to face his former teammate, Mbappe told TF1: "Not at all, he is in a different team now.

"I wish him the best. We are going to play against him and try to beat him."

Cavani took part in his first training session since joining United on Sunday after quarantining following his deadline-day arrival.
