Live Commentary: Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Chelsea - as it happened

PSG 2-1 Chelsea - as it happened

Paris Saint-Germain gained a slender advantage over Chelsea in the last 16 of the Champions League with a 2-1 victory in their first leg at the Parc des Princes this evening.

The hosts broke the deadlock through a deflected Zlatan Ibrahimovic free kick, but John Obi Mikel was the unlikely man to provide an away goal for Chelsea as they levelled things up with the last kick of the first half.

Guus Hiddink's unbeaten start to his second stint as manager would come to an end, however, as Edinson Cavani came off the bench to win it for PSG ahead of next month's second leg at Stamford Bridge.

Find out how all of the action unfolded courtesy of Sports Mole's live minute-by-minute coverage below.

9.45pmThat is all we have time for this evening! Thank you very much for joining Sports Mole for tonight's entertaining tussle between the champions of France and England, with PSG coming out on top in the first leg. I will leave you with our match report, and be sure to stick around for reaction. We also have more Champions League action for you tomorrow night and Europe League football on Thursday, so check back in with us for that. From me, though, it is goodbye for now!

9.43pmAnother thoroughly entertaining match between these two sides comes to an end, then, and it is advantage PSG going into the second leg. Chelsea won't be too displeased with the 2-1 scoreline, however, and they are very much still in the tie, which was their main priority from this game. PSG took the lead through a deflected Ibrahimovic strike, but responded right at the end of the first half through the unlikely source of John Obi Mikel. Cavani would prove to be the winner, however, coming off the bench to fire his side into the lead at the halfway stage of the tie.

90+3 minFULL TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Chelsea

90+2 minCHANCE! A late sight of goal for Chelsea as Willian spreads a good pass out to Pedro, who takes the ball down but lashes his volley into the side-netting.

90+1 minThere will be two minutes of added time at the end of this match.

90 minCHANCE! Big chance for PSG to get a crucial late third goal as the ball is fed into the box for Ibrahimovic, but Courtois does enough to thwart the big Swede.

87 minHiddink would take 2-1 here, you feel. They will fancy their chances of picking up a victory at Stamford Bridge, although they may be hard pressed to keep PSG off the scoresheet.

85 minMarquinhos turns provider this time with a drilled ball across the area, and Silva, still up from the corner, slashes one well off target.

84 minCHANCE! Marquinhos looks to get that third goal as Pastor back-heels the ball into his path. The defender breaks into the box and tries to pass it into the far corner, but it gets blocked behind for a corner.

83 minThis is a finely-balanced tie right now, and it will be interesting to see how both teams approach the closing stages. A 2-1 scoreline keeps Chelsea in the tie, and they will probably err on the side of caution, whereas PSG will be keen for a third here.

81 minPSG SUBS: Verratti's evening is over following his recent return from injury as he gets replaced by Adrien Rabiot. Matuidi also makes way, with Javier Pastore coming on in his place.

78 minPSG make their breakthrough! It is the sub Cavani who gets it just four minutes after coming on, spinning away behind the defence to latch on to a chipped ball over the top. Cavani is forced a little wide, but he keeps his shot down and drills it past Courtois, who may be a little disappointed to have let that in at his near post.

78 minGOAL! PSG 2-1 Chelsea (Edinson Cavani)

77 minCHANCE! Oh they almost hit the hosts one the break to grab a second too! An early free kick is played over the top of the defence for an alert Oscar, but he just can't stretch out enough to get a toe on the ball as Trapp comes out to win it.

76 minReally good spell of possession for Chelsea as they knock the ball about inside the PSG half to relieve some of the pressure on their defence. Another minute or two wasted for the visitors, there.

74 minPSG SUB: PSG do have the ability to call upon players like this from their bench, though. Edinson Cavani is introduced for the home side, replacing Lucas.

73 minTime is ticking away from the home side here, and Chelsea are getting closer and closer to the final whistle. This would be some result for the visitors, who weren't given much of a chance by many people in tonight's game.

71 minCHELSEA SUB: The visitors make a change here, and it is an interesting one as Hazard is replaced by Oscar.

71 minYELLOW CARDS! There is one of those rare Chelsea breaks, and it results in a yellow card for Lucas for pulling back Baba Rahman. Luiz also gets a yellow for an earlier foul on Costa.

69 minThis has been attack vs. defence for the most part in the second half, with the rare exception of a Chelsea break here and there. Chelsea are defending very well, it must be said, but if PSG maintain this level of dominance then they will surely create more chances.

67 minSAVE! Di Maria takes it on and curls it towards the goalkeeper's side, where Courtois is at full stretch to push it away.

67 minYELLOW CARD! Pedro goes into the book for a challenge on Verratti for a high boot, but there was nothing malicious in there. Another PSG free kick in a very good position...

66 minPSG are moving through the gears right now and really piling the pressure on the Chelsea defence at the moment. So far, though, Cahill and Ivanovic are holding firm.

64 minCHANCE! Heroic defending from Chelsea to keep things level! A cross arrives from Maxwell down the left flank which Ibrahimovic climbs to meet, but he can't get a clean connection on it under pressure from Ivanovic. It drops to Matuidi on the edge of the six-yard box, but Ivanovic and Cahill both throw themselves in the way of the ball to block his strike.

61 minCHANCE! PSG are really beginning to knock on the door now! Lucas collects a Ibrahimovic pass inside and drives forward from midfield before drilling a low strike towards the bottom corner that Courtois does well to get down and save.

59 minDi Maria is involved again here, but this would have been truly special. Lucas swings a deep cross over to the far post with the playmaker attempts to volley first time, but it is a tremendously difficult skill and he slices his effort off target.

58 minCourtois is forced out here to sweep up a through-ball from Di Maria aimed at the overlapping Maxwell. Di Maria is beginning to see a worrying amount of the ball from Chelsea's point of view.

55 minWe're 10 minutes into the second half now, and Chelsea have set up their stall for the rest of the game. They are going to be happy to let PSG have the majority of the ball before looking to hit them on the break. No unnecessary risks for Chelsea - this would be a great result for them if it stays like this.

53 minSAVE! Ibrahimovic looks to double his personal tally for the evening, picking the ball up over on the right side of the area before working a yard to shoot against Ivanovic. He drills a powerful effort towards goal, which takes a slight touch off Ivanovic, but Courtois has his angles right and makes the save.

52 minChelsea have a decent chance on the break with numbers, which is how they are looking to play now they have the away goal. Costa is eventually able to get a shot away, but it lacks the power to really trouble Trapp.

51 minSAVE! Di Maria almost comes up with something out of nothing as he lets fly out of the blue from more than 25 yards out. It is flying towards goal, but Courtois sticks up a hand to tip it over the crossbar.

49 minCHANCE! Huge chance for Chelsea to get that second goal! They soak up some PSG pressure and immediately hit the hosts on the break, with Willian sparking it all. The ball is eventually played to Costa down the left channel, but Trapp comes out to meet him and makes a big save to deny the striker.

48 minChelsea have made an energetic start to this second half, both on and off the ball. They have been buoyed by that equaliser, and know that a second goal tonight would put them in a great position.

46 minKICKOFF: PSG get us back underway for this second half as they look to respond to that late blow at the end of the opening 45 minutes. A 1-1 draw would be a much better result for Chelsea than it would for the hosts.

8.46pmIbrahimovic missed a good headed chance of his own shortly after the half-hour mark when he failed to properly connect with his effort, but aside from that PSG have been limited to long-range efforts mostly. Lucas Moura and Verratti both threatened in the opening exchanges, while Ibrahimovic rippled the side-netting with another free kick before opening the scoring.

8.44pmChelsea had actually come closest to opening the scoring before the goals, with Costa somehow failing to convert Baba Rahman's cross into the middle. The striker was unmarked having peeled away from Luiz, but he didn't nod the ball downwards from point-blank range and Trapp was able to stick out a big hand to make a superb stop and turn the ball onto the crossbar.

8.42pmMikel atoned for that with the last kick of the first half, however, scoring just his sixth goal in 358 appearances for the club to level things up. Costa did well to get a touch on a corner at the near post, which saw the ball reach Mikel in a yard of space in the area. His first touch was good, and he showed good composure to drill his effort past the keeper to hand Chelsea what could prove to be a crucial away goal.

8.40pmThe opening goal came from Ibrahimovic just six minutes before half time when the Swede drilled a free kick towards goal from 25 yards. Mikel, who gave the free kick away, turned his back on the ball as it came through, and that saw it deflect off his shin and past his helpless goalkeeper.

8.38pmHands up who had money on John Obi Mikel to score then? The long-serving midfielder has been heavily involved in both goals here as we go into the halfway stage at the Parc des Princes locked at 1-1. PSG dominated the opening exchanges, but Chelsea soon settled into the game and will be pretty happy with how things are at half time.

45+1 minHALF TIME: PSG 1-1 Chelsea

45+1 minWell, well, well! Chelsea level things up with the very last kick of the half, and also get that all-important away goal. It is the man to blame for PSG's goal, and perhaps the most unlikely scorer on the field as Mikel slams the ball home. Costa flicked a corner on to the midfielder, who took a touch before drilling home for just the sixth goal in his long Chelsea career!

45+1 minGOAL! PSG 1-1 Chelsea (John Obi Mikel)

44 minWillian does indeed take this, but the PSG wall does its job and deflects the ball behind for a corner.

43 minNow Chelsea have a free kick in a good position following a nice break from Hazard. He feeds the ball inside for Willian, who is brought down by Silva. Willian has scored four direct free kicks in this competition already this season, and there have only been eight scored in the Champions League overall...

41 minIt certainly looks like bad luck for Chelsea that, but some blame can be attached to Mikel, not just for giving the free kick away but for turning his back in the wall. Had he stayed facing the ball front on then it wouldn't have got past him, but as he turned the ball deflected off his shin and flew in.

39 minPSG take the lead, and it is Ibrahimovic who gets a slither of revenge for his controversial red card in the meeting last season. The Swede gets a big stroke of luck, however, as his drilled free kick takes a deflection off Mikel, who gave the set piece away, which takes it past a helpless Courtois.

39 minGOAL! PSG 1-0 Chelsea (Zlatan Ibrahimovic)

38 minYELLOW CARD! Mikel joins Ibrahimovic in the book for a foul on Lucas, but the bigger punishment may be yet to arrive as PSG have a free kick in a very dangerous position...

36 minEnd-to-end spell of the match here as first PSG come forward, then Chelsea respond, and then the hosts come back again. Ibrahimovic makes the latter attack possible with a lovely flick inside, and Di Maria is released down the left channel. He looks for the far bottom corner, but curls his effort well wide.

33 minCHANCE! PSG create their best chance of the match so far, and like Chelsea's, it falls to the man they would want as well. Ibrahimovic loses Cahill in the box and is in space as he climbs to header a cross from the right flank. However, he gets it all wrong as the ball hits him on the nose, bounces into the ground and goes over the top.

32 minHalf a sight of goal as Hazard gets down the left following a quick free kick. He swings the ball in towards the back post, where Ivanovic meets it. The ball drops loose and the stand-in skipper tries to squeeze it in from a tight angle, but it goes into the side-netting.

30 minThese two are likely to see a lot of each other over the two legs. One is a former Brazil captain, one is a Brazilian-born striker who shunned his home country to play for Spain. Plenty of needle expected!

28 minGood spell of possession for PSG here, and at an important time too. Chelsea have certainly grown into the game now and are looking increasingly dangerous, so the hosts need to try to regain control of the contest now.

26 minAlmost a chance for Chelsea again as they move the ball forward down the right. Pedro drills a low cross into the middle where Azpilicueta is waiting, but the pace of the cross is too much for him and he can't make any sort of contact.

24 minPSG look to respond at the other end of the field as Ibrahimovic gets a shot away, but it lacks power and doesn't threaten Courtois.

23 minOFF THE BAR! Oh my word, against the run of play Chelsea are inches away from breaking the deadlock! It is another good passing move from the visitors before Baba Rahman crosses the ball into the middle. Costa has peeled away from Luiz and gets plenty on his header, but Trapp sticks out a hand to make an incredible stop and turn the ball onto the crossbar.

21 minBrave defending from Cahill to clear a cross and launch a counter-attack for Chelsea, who are able to make a rare break forward with numbers. They slow the attack down which allows PSG to get defenders back, but they do at least string their best passing spell together before Costa eventually has it stolen by Luiz.

19 minYELLOW CARD! Well, he was sent off in the tie last season, and he is the first in the book tonight for a foul on Mikel. It looks harsh on first viewing, but you can see why the referee gave it after seeing the replay.

17 minVery good defending from Azpilicueta as he tracks a diagonal run from Lucas all the way into the middle and manages to get an important foot in. He showed a surprising turn of pace there against the speedy Lucas.

15 minWell, Chelsea have got through the opening 15 minutes here, but they will need to offer a little more going forward if they are to make a game of this. The big plus will be that PSG have been unable to create a really good chance so far, but they have come close with a few long-range efforts.

13 minAgain PSG come forward, this time down the left, as Maxwell slips in behind Azpilicueta. The PSG full-back tries to send a low cross into the middle, but it is just too far in front of Ibrahimovic and Di Maria, allowing Courtois to collect.

12 minCLOSE! He does indeed go for goal, and it is not a bad effort at all. He curls one over the wall and it ripples the side-netting on it's way past the post. I'm not sure Courtois would have reached that.

11 minIbrahimovic gets his body between himself and Willian to buy a free kick within shooting range, for him at least. It is a long way out, but I imagine Zlatan will give this a go...

9 minChelsea do come forward finally, but Silva shrugs off the challenge of Costa and calmly comes away with the ball. The hosts have started with a commanding air about them here, and it is no surprise when you consider their form at the moment.

7 minIt is just all PSG in these opening exchanges. Chelsea can barely get out of their own half and they need to get a good spell of possession to settle into this match.

5 minSHOT! Lucas Moura also has a go from a similar position to Verratti, cutting back onto his right foot before letting fly with a powerful effort. However, it goes comfortably wide of the target.

3 minSAVE! Courtois is forced into an early stop here as Verratti lets fly from 25 yards. It has a lot of swerve on the ball, and Courtois can only parry it straight back out, but it goes to a Chelsea defender to clear.

3 minIt's been a quick start from the hosts here. They are dominating the ball in the early exchanges and are oozing with confidence at the moment. Chelsea can't get a kick of the ball right now.

1 minKICKOFF! Here we go! The PSG fans are in fine voice as Chelsea get us underway in the French capital. Can they stay in the tie and take a good result back to Stamford Bridge?

7.43pmRight then, we're just a couple of minutes away from the return of the Champions League! The players come out on the field and are greeted by a great atmosphere and the famous Champions League music. This has been a magnificent fixture in recent years, and this has the feeling that it could be another.

7.41pmChelsea are the only English side to have beaten PSG in Paris, running out 3-0 winners in a 2004-05 group game, with Terry amongst the scorers that night. That is their only win from seven visits to France, however, while PSG have won two of their four home games against English opposition. Those are their only two wins in 11 meetings with Premier League sides, though, six of which have come against Chelsea (W1 D3 L2).

7.39pmAs already mentioned, this is the third time in as many years that these two sides have met in the Champions League. The two previous occasions both ended in 3-3 aggregate draws, with Chelsea and PSG both going through on away goals once each. It was PSG's turn last time as they fought to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge after extra time, despite seeing Ibrahimovic sent off in just the 31st minute. It remained goalless until the 81st minute in that match, but the 90 ended 1-1 and extra time saw both sides score again as PSG progressed following a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

7.37pmIn our latest edition of The Dugout, me and my colleague Pascal Lemesre talk through the first knockout rounds of both the Champions League and Europa League, starting with tonight's crunch match. Find out what we had to say below:

7.35pmPREDICTION: We're 10 minutes away from kickoff at the Parc des Princes, which means that it is time for a prediction! I don't think that the difference between these two sides is as great as the respective league tables suggest, but at the same time PSG are in incredible form at the moment and are rightly considered favourites. Chelsea would be ecstatic with a draw tonight, but that is much easier said than done against a free-scoring winning machine like PSG are at the moment. I'm going for a 3-1 home win.

7.33pmAway from home, though, Chelsea have only won three of their last 11 Champions League outings, including just one in the group stages this term, against whipping boys Maccabi Tel Aviv. They have failed to win any of their last five away games in knockout rounds, although four of those have ended in draws, which would be a good result tonight. Hiddink has overseen an improvement on the road since arriving at the club, picking up as many wins in five games as Mourinho did in his last 14 away games (three).

7.31pmThey won their last three games in Group G to top the group ahead of Dynamo Kiev and Porto, and another victory tonight, unlikely as it may be, would be the first time that they have won four consecutive Champions League games since they won the whole thing in 2012. They are looking to reach the quarter-finals of the competition for the fourth time in the last six years and seventh in the last decade.

7.29pmAs a club, they have a decent record in this competition in recent years too. They have lost just one of their last 14 Champions League games, stretching back to the 2013-14 semi-final against Atletico Madrid. They didn't lose a game in last season's tournament, going out to PSG on away goals after two draws, and the Champions League often provided welcome relief for the Blues during their troubles start to this season, with many of their better performances coming in this competition.

7.27pmHe does have pedigree in this competition, though. He won the European Cup with PSV Eindhoven back in 1987-88, and even took Chelsea to within a whisker of the final during his first stint in charge. They were on the verge of qualifying for the showpiece event to be held at Wembley, where they would have met Manchester United for the second year in a row, but Andres Iniesta rescued an away-goals win for Barcelona in the dying stages.

7.25pmGuus Hiddink has overseen 11 of those games, and his side are on the current longest unbeaten run in the Premier League of 10 matches. However, too many of those games have ended in draws, which have prevented Chelsea from storming up the table and beginning to repair the damage done in the opening months of the season. A draw would, of course, be a great result for the Blues tonight, but it is fair to say that Hiddink is coming up against the toughest test yet of his second spell at the club tonight.

7.23pmIt means that, from a league perspective, there is only really pride left to fight for for Chelsea, who are 14 points off the top four and 20 off leaders Leicester. Their most likely route into the Champions League next season is to win it this term, which is saying something about their chances of closing that gap on the top four. There has certainly been an improvement since Jose Mourinho left the club, though, with Chelsea unbeaten in 12 games since his departure.

7.21pmThey are all pretty formidable stats for Chelsea to come up against, and this season they will certainly travel to the French capital a lot less sure of themselves than their last visit. They were cruising to the Premier League title and considered by some to be serious contenders for European success when they played PSG last season, but while the French champions have made short work of defending their crown this season, Chelsea's defence has been worse than anyone could have imagined.

7.19pmThey had won 16 games in a row in all competitions until a weakened side drew 0-0 with Lille at the weekend, a result which also halted a 13-match winning streak at home. Lille became only the third team this season, after Bordeaux and Real Madrid, to stop PSG from winning at the Parc des Princes, but they are unbeaten since Barcelona visited here last season, a run of 24 games. That Barca defeat is their only one in their last 49 home outings in all competitions, and also their only defeat in their last 37 home European outings - a run that stretches back to the group stage of the 2006-07 UEFA Cup.

7.17pmThey are unbeaten in their last 22 matches in all competitions, and have only lost once in their last 45 outings since last season's quarter-final exit to Barcelona in this year's competition. That solitary defeat came in the group stages of the Champions League this term, however, as Real Madrid won 1-0 at the Bernabeu. PSG took only one point from two games against Los Blancos, which perhaps proves that they are not quite there with Europe's elite just yet, although they did boast the best defensive record in all the group stages, conceding just once in their six outings.

7.15pmIf domestic success has been relatively easy to buy, it remains to be seen whether PSG can quite compete with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich on the European stage. Their stats are certainly impressive - in Ligue 1 they have scored 63 goals (24 more than the next highest scorers), conceded just 12 (eight fewer than the next best defence) and have a goal difference of +51 (41 goals better than second best). Europe holds bigger tests than France, though, and one of them is facing PSG tonight.

7.13pmThe big question is whether they have what it takes to turn that treble into a quadruple. European success is what the owners have been after since taking over in 2011, and so far PSG have failed to make it past the quarter-finals of the Champions League. They have reached the last eight in each of the past three seasons, since returning to the biggest club stage in Europe, but have twice been eliminated by Barcelona and once by the very same club that they take on tonight.

7.11pmTheir unbeaten start to the season has seen them set a new national record for the longest Ligue 1 unbeaten streak, going 35 matches since they last lost in the French top flight in March of last year. That stretches to 44 domestic games without defeat when you include the cup competitions, both of which they won last year and both of which they are in contention to win again. They are in the final of the League Cup and quarter-finals of the French Cup, so they could well be on course for a second successive treble.

7.09pmPSG's dominance in Ligue 1 so far this season has been complete, and it is only a question of when, rather than if, they will claim a fourth straight league title now. They are the only team in Europe's top five divisions not to have lost a league game this season, and they have only drawn four of their 26 outings too. That means that they have dropped just eight points from a possible 78 all season to leave them a staggering 24 points clear of second-placed Monaco.

7.07pmChelsea certainly have the players to trouble PSG tonight, then, but the hosts will come into this tie as heavy favourites to progress into the quarter-finals. Both of their previous ties with Chelsea over the last two seasons have been absorbing, brilliantly-balanced affairs, but that doesn't appear to be the case this time around, particularly looking at their respective positions in the league.

7.05pmWith Falcao and Pato still unavailable, there was never really any doubt as to who would start up front for Chelsea tonight. Costa has been linked with a move to PSG this season, but the striker seems to have discovered a new lease of life since Hiddink arrived at the club. He has already scored eight goals under the Dutchman, which is twice as many as he managed under Jose Mourinho during the Portuguese's time in charge this season.

7.03pmThe defensive reshuffle is one of just two changes to the side that thrashed Newcastle at the weekend, and the other is also enforced. Nemanja Matic is banned for this match, so Hiddink's favourite John Obi Mikel is drafted back into the starting lineup alongside Fabregas. The biggest decision for Hiddink to make today was probably to do with the trio behind the striker, with Pedro being handed a rare start at the weekend and responding with two goals. Oscar is back from a calf injury, but has to make do with a place on the bench tonight as Hiddink sticks with Willian and Hazard alongside Pedro.

7.01pmTerry's injury, coupled with Kurt Zouma being ruled out for the remainder of the season, forces Hiddink into a reshuffle at the back, with Azpilicueta switching over to the right flank, Ivanovic moving inside next to Cahill and Baba Rahman being drafted in on the left. It is a situation that may get Chelsea reconsidering their decision to allow Terry to leave at the end of the season and, while there are three experienced defenders in that back four for Chelsea, PSG's deadly attack will look to make the most of the relatively unfamiliar set-up.

6.59pmAs for Chelsea, it is the starting lineup we expected from Guus Hiddink, but certainly not the one he would have ideally fielded. Conspicuous by his absence is captain John Terry, who limped off in the first half of Chelsea's victory over Newcastle United at the weekend and has not recovered from his hamstring strain in time to feature tonight. He is also a doubt for the FA Cup clash with Manchester City at the weekend, so they could be without their skipper for two of their biggest games of the season this week.

6.57pmMarco Verratti, who was a doubt for this match having only returned from a groin injury off the bench at the weekend, is handed a start alongside Motta in midfield, with Matuidi the only one of the trio to keep his place from the weekend. Di Maria, who didn't make the grade at Manchester United but has shone since moving to Paris, starts up front, which means that there is no room for the likes of Cavani or Pastore. Not a bad duo to be able to bring off the bench!

6.55pmIndeed, it is an all-Brazilian back four for the hosts, with Marquinhos moving across to the right in place of Van der Wiel and Maxwell returning on the left. Thiago Motta, who was born in Brazil but plays for Italy, is another who was rested at the weekend but returns tonight, as is Lucas Moura, who starts alongside Ibrahimovic and Angel di Maria in the front three. There is certainly a Brazilian feel to this PSG side tonight.

6.53pmCaptain Thiago Silva is another of those two return to the starting XI, and Chelsea fans won't need reminding that it was his goal that knocked them out of the Champions League at this stage of last season. He netted an extra-time header to send his side through on away goals following a thrilling second leg at Stamford Bridge that had also seen David Luiz score against his former club. The Brazilians partner each other at the back again tonight.

6.51pmWhat can we make of those two sides, then? Well, starting with the hosts, they welcome a number of first-choice players back into the starting XI as expected having had the luxury of resting a number of their players against Lille at the weekend. The most notable of the lot is, of course, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has continued his stellar goalscoring record for PSG this season. However, he hasn't fared too well in the knockout stages of the Champions League down the years, scoring just seven goals in 36 knockout appearances compared to 38 goals in 79 group games.

6.49pmPSG SUBS: Sirigu, Van Der Wiel, Kurzawa, Rabiot, Stambouli, Pastore, Cavani

6.49pmPSG STARTING XI: Trapp; Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Maxwell; Verratti, Thiago Motta, Matuidi; Moura, Ibrahimovic, Di Maria

6.47pmCHELSEA SUBS: Begovic, Miazga, Loftus-Cheek, Oscar, Kenedy, Traore, Remy

6.47pmCHELSEA STARTING XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Ivanovic, Baba Rahman; Fabregas, Mikel; Pedro, Willian, Hazard; Diego Costa

6.45pmGood evening! Thank you very much for joining Sports Mole as the Champions League returns following two months away! The first matchday of the last 16 sees what is fast becoming a grudge match as PSG and Chelsea meet for the third year in a row in this competition. The last two ties have both been thoroughly entertaining, so hopefully we will see more of the same over the coming two legs! First things first, though, let's take a look at the two teams on show...
