Team News: Cristiano Ronaldo leads attack for Portugal against Armenia

Cristiano Ronaldo leads the attack for Portugal as Group I's leaders face an Armenia side still looking for their first win in the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been named as the lone striker in Portugal's starting lineup for their Euro 2016 qualifier against Armenia this evening.

The Real Madrid forward will have support from Vierinha and Danny in midfield. Eliseu picks up just his eighth cap partnering Fabio Coentrao at the back.

Meanwhile, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Artur Sarkisov will provide the goal threat for the home side as they continue to push for their first win of the qualifying campaign.

Gevorg Ghazaryan and Marcos Pizzelli will also be a threat as Armenia face the table toppers, while 19-year-old striker Artur Miranyan could make his debut off the bench.

Group I's bottom side are captained by 40-year-old goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky, who wins his 93rd international cap this evening.
