Marcus Maddison's impressive displays for Peterborough United in October have earned him a nomination for the League One Player of the Month award.
The 21-year-old scored four goals in five games for Posh, including two long-range free kicks, and is joined by Gwion Edwards, Jonathan Forte and Dean Lewington in being nominated.
Versatile Crawley Town midfielder Edwards is recognised for four goals in four games in a month which saw him earn a first Wales call-up.
Forte is enjoying life at Oldham Athletic, finding the net five times in five games as the Latics extended their unbeaten run to 11 games.
MK Dons captain Lewington helped his side to three clean sheets in four games as they conceded just once last month.
