Federico Balzaretti: 'I will only join Paris Saint-Germain'

Federico Balzaretti has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain is the only club that he will consider leaving Palermo for this summer.

The Italian has been linked with a number of European clubs after an impressive Euro 2012 but the defender insists that a move will only happen if PSG make an approach.

Balzaretti told Corriere dello Sport: "A week ago I spoke with [Palermo president Maurizio] Zamparini. I told him what my priorities are.

"I'll either stay at Palermo or move to Paris St Germain - there are no other solutions."

The 30-year-old is believed to favour a move to PSG because his wife currently works in the French capital.
