Oldham sign 16-year-old Ronaldo

Oldham Athletic have signed 16-year-old Ronaldo Brown after the youngster was released by Liverpool.

The teenager is named after the Brazilian Ronaldo, and even has a twin brother called Rivaldo.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, mother Denise explained that the names are down to her passion for the sport.

She said: "I love football and the boys were born in 1998 - the year of the World Cup. I liked the Brazil side so I named them after Ronaldo and Rivaldo.

"They also have a younger sister called Trezeguet after the French player (David)."

The League One side, who are currently 16th, face Peterborough United in their final game of the season.
