Jonson Clarke-Harris cancels out Nahki Wells 21st-minute opener as Bradford City draw 1-1 with Oldham Athletic.

Bradford City have missed the chance to move into the playoff places in League One after being held to a 1-1 with Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park this afternoon.

Phil Parkinson's men opened the scoring on 21 minutes through Nahki Wells, who was on hand to thump into an empty net after being teed up by Garry Thompson.

However, the hosts hit back with a swift riposte minutes later, as Jonson Clarke-Harris unleashed a fierce angled effort that flew past goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin.

Both teams struggled to forge the opportunities necessary to edge ahead in the contest and the spoils were ultimately shared by both managers.

Consequently, the Bantams remain eighth in England's third tier, two points adrift of local rivals Rotherham United, while Lee Johnson's men sit 14th.
